Questions

Frequently asked.

The questions a new client actually asks, answered directly — not dodged.

Yes. Maeker Technologies is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, RC 8831492, with our workshop at No 17, Muhammed K Amate Crescent, Jahi, Abuja. We issue proper invoices and receipts, and can provide our CAC documents and TIN for procurement.

Fair question. We were registered in 2026 and we’re building our first client projects now. What we can offer instead of a long client list: working demo products you can log into right now, a workshop you’re welcome to visit, fixed prices agreed before we start, milestone payments so you’re never paying far ahead of delivered work, and full ownership of your code from day one. Through First Five, our first clients get 30% off in exchange for an honest case study.

We price by the size of the job, not by the service. A single landing page (Launch) starts at ₦200,000, a full application (Build) at ₦1,500,000, and a system the business runs on (Platform) at ₦2,000,000. A first mobile app of a few screens sits below the Build tier, from ₦500,000. Every figure is a starting price for the smallest honest version of that tier; we publish them all on our pricing page and give a fixed written quote before any work begins — no hourly billing that grows without warning.

A straightforward website: from two weeks. A mobile app v1: from six weeks. A business system: six to twelve weeks depending on scope. We give a dated milestone schedule with the quote, and if we miss a milestone by more than a week without an agreed change, that milestone is free.

Within one business day, usually sooner — one of the two founders reads every enquiry personally. If you need us faster, message us on WhatsApp.

You do. Full ownership of source code, designs, and content transfers to you on final payment. It’s written into every contract. We keep no lock-in and don’t hold your hosting hostage.

In milestones — typically 40% to start, 40% at user acceptance testing, 20% on go-live. For hardware and 3D printing we take enough upfront to cover materials. Bank transfer, with a proper invoice each time.

Your code lives in a repository you have access to from week one, not on our laptops. You hold your own hosting and domain accounts. Milestone payments mean you’ve never paid far ahead of delivered work. We’d rather you never need this answer, but you should have it.

Yes. Every build includes a 30-day warranty. After that you can take it in-house or move to our Build + Run plan, which covers hosting, backups, monitoring, and a 48-hour response on issues.

We build with Nigeria’s Data Protection Act in mind: access controls, encrypted connections, regular backups, and clear agreement on who can see what. For schools and clinics we’ll put data handling terms in writing as part of the contract.

Yes, before you share anything sensitive. Just ask.

Yes — send an STL, STEP file, or even a sketch. We quote within 24 hours and most Abuja jobs are ready in three working days. We print in PLA, PETG, and resin, and can help with the design if you don’t have a file yet.

Yes. Software work happens remotely across Nigeria over video calls and shared boards, and we’ll travel for kickoff and go-live on larger engagements. 3D printing ships nationwide.

We’re building toward it. We’re going through the standard registrations and are happy to provide procurement documentation. For now our fastest, best work is with schools, clinics, and private companies, and we’d rather do that excellently than overpromise on a tender we’re not yet sized for.
