School portal demo
Admissions, fees, results and the daily register spread across paper, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups.
Nothing you type is stored. The one thing that does leave: the emails the portal sends to the address you give it, which is the point of the demo.
Aster — a school portal, running for a school we invented.
Kingsfield Academy does not exist and none of its students are real. Everything else works: sign in as one of four people and the portal changes around you.
- As the head — enrol a student, chase fees, release results, publish a notice.
- As a teacher — take this morning’s register, enter marks, send a term’s results out.
- As a parent — pay fees, read the result slip, message the class teacher.
- As a student — today’s timetable, your position in class, what homework is due.
Give it your email at the door and each of those actions sends you the message a real deployment would — the admission letter, the receipt, the result slip — within a few seconds. Or enter without one and skip the mail.
